Educational Qualifications

• Postgraduate Degree: MD / MS / DNB in the relevant specialty.
• For certain departments, DM / M.Ch / DrNB qualifications are required as per NMC norms.
• Candidates must fulfill eligibility criteria as per NMC-TEQ 2025 read with MSR/PGMER 2023.
• Registration with National Medical Commission (NMC) / State Medical Council is mandatory.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 45 Years for most departments.
• For Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Pathology, Forensic Medicine & Community Medicine: 50 Years.
• Age relaxation: As per Government of India rules.

Salary Details

• Pay Level: Level-11 under 7th CPC.
• Basic Pay: ₹67,700/- per month.
• Approximate Gross Salary: ₹1,57,392/- per month (subject to DA revision).

• All Other Categories: ₹500/-.
